Administration
Jessica Hanes – Staffing & Billing Coordinator
Jessica joined the Vision Source family in July of 2015 and serves as our Clinic Coordinator. She is a Shawnee native and graduated from Shawnee High School in 2008. Soon after graduating, she attended Barber College, where she received not only her Barbering license, but her Master Instructor license as well. Jessica has 10 years of customer service experience, 8 years in the optometry field, and 5 years in insurance administration. Jessica enjoys her time outside of the office with her husband, Michael, and their four sons – Turner, Thatcher, Finley, and Drake.
Kelcey Wilson – Billing Specialist
Kelcey is a 2009 graduate of Little Axe High School who joined the Vision Source family in February 2020. She serves patients as a billing specialist, relying on her 13 years of customer experience to ensure that our patients vision and medical benefits are utilized to their fullest and these claims are processed correctly. Outside of work she enjoys camping with her husband Andrew and watching her sons, Andy and Kaden, play football and baseball.
Emily Tucker – Billing Specialist
Emily started with Shawnee Vision Source in May of 2014 when the practice was under the ownership of Dr. Marshall Gleckler. She remained on staff when the practice was purchased by Dr. Kliewer, Dr. Conklin and Dr. Karnish in November of 2014. Emily is from Sacramento, California, and graduated from Coal Ridge High School. She serves as our Billing Specialist. Emily has 9 years of experience in customer service and 7 years of experience in insurance administration. Emily received her CPO certification in November 2018. She and her husband, Dalton have 1 daughter named Madeline and 3 dogs, Bentley, Kahlua, and Luna. She enjoys shopping, vacations in Mexico, and going to the lake.
Kaitlynn Sanford – Billing Specialist
Kaitlynn is a 2019 Bethel High School graduate who joined our Vision Source family in May of 2021. She got a head start in customer service experience by attending the Gordon Cooper Cosmetology program during her junior and senior years of high school. Kaitlynn serves as one of our Billing and Records specialist. Although our patients are treated for many vision issues seeing double with this employee is not uncommon – Her identical twin works in our optical department. In her free time, Kaitlynn enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and being a dog mom.
Front Desk
Sarah Pedro – Front Desk
Sarah joined the Vision Source family in February of 2022 bringing her 5 years of customer service experience to our front desk medical reception positions. She is a 2014 private school graduate originally from Phoenix, AZ. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family and friends exploring the outdoors and traveling to find new adventures.
Madisyn Keith – Front Desk
Madisyn joined the Vision Source family in October of 2022. She graduated from Nowata High School in 2017, and after that, she furthered her education and received a degree in Interior Design. Madisyn serves as one of our Front Desk Receptionists at the Shawnee office and has 5 years of customer service experience. She and her husband, Justin, have one son, Kash, and a baby on the way. Madisyn enjoys spending free time with her friends and family, going to church, watching OU football, tending to her chickens, and being outdoors.
Darien Christer – Front Desk
Darien joined the Vision Source family in September of 2023. She graduated from Henryetta High School in 2019. Darien serves as one of our Front Desk Receptionists at our Shawnee office where she puts her 4 years of customer service to use welcoming each patient with a warm smile. When she is not working Darien loves to go shopping and enjoys spending quality time with her Husband Blake and two children.
Eric Roach- Front Desk
Eric Joined the Vision Source family in January of 2024. He graduated from Washington High School in 2019 and furthered his education at Northeastern State University, graduating with a marketing degree in 2023. He has recently been accepted to Optometry School at NSU and will be starting there in August of 2024. Outside of work he enjoys serving God, hunting, fishing, hanging out with friends and working out.
Technicians
Paige Aldridge- Contact Lens Specialist
Paige joined the Vision Source family in June of 2015 shortly after graduating from Moore High School and starting at just 18 years old. She has served many roles throughout her years here such as our Lead Technician, Special Testing Tech, Contact Lens Specialist and now our new Ocular Hygienist for both the Shawnee and Tecumseh offices. She has 11 years of customer service experience and has a strong devotion for assisting patients needs. Paige proudly received her CPO certification in November 2018. She and her husband, Ross, have one daughter, Hayven as well as one son, Brody. Among her free time she enjoys spending most of it with her family, being outdoors and watching OU softball.
Allyson Smith – Technician
Allyson joined the Vision Source family in July of 2022. She serves as one of our of Optometric Technicians. With her 5 years of customer service, she aims to provide the best care to each and every patient with a smile on her face. Allyson graduated from Classen School of Advanced studies in 2020. In her free time she enjoys kayaking and hiking with her dog Moose.
Katelyn Self – Technician
Katelyn joined the Vision Source family in October of 2022. She grew up in Shawnee/Tecumseh Oklahoma and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 2020. She decided to further her education at Rose State College where she acquired her Associates Degree in Psychology. Katelyn currently serves as one of our Optometric Technicians in both or Shawnee and Tecumseh locations where she puts her 4 years of customer service experience to great work. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching OU football, creating art, being outdoors and watching “The Office” on repeat.
Kelsey Kenedy – Technician
Kelsey joined the Vision Source family in August of 2023. She graduated from Shawnee High School in 2016 and continued her education by attending Gordon Cooper Technology center for Office Management. Kelsey serves as one of our Optometric Technicians. In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her 2 year old son.
Jayden Mathews – Technician
Jayden joined the Vision Source family in July of 2023. She was homeschooled and graduated in 2023. Jayden serves as one of our Optometric Technicians. In her free time she enjoys fishing, reading, hanging out with friends and traveling.
McKayla Roberson- Technician
McKayla joined the Vision Source Family in October of 2023. She attended high school in Germany and graduated in 2016. McKayla furthered her education by attending OBU where she is working to receive her degree in Biology with hopes to apply for Optometry School. She serves as one of our Technicians where she puts her customer service to great work helping patients feel relaxed and welcome. McKayla comes from a Military family so she has had the opportunity to visit Germany, Japan and England. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as her dog Kuni.
Karleigh Cash- Technician
Karleigh joined the Vision Source Family in October of 2023. She attended Earlsboro High School where she graduated in 2021. Karleigh serves as one of our Technicians where she puts her 3 years of customer service to good use assisting patients with their preliminary work up. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family as well as helping her family out on their Ranch.
Optical Team
Michael Hanes – Optical Manager / Frame & Lens Specialist
Michael joined Shawnee Vision Source in August of 2015. He grew up a Military/Oilfield kid in Texas and Oklahoma eventually graduating from high school at Strathcona Composite High School in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Michael and his wife, Jessica, have four sons Turner, Thatcher, Finley and Drake. Michael enjoys working out and taking his son to his various sports practices. Michael has spent the last 15 years enlisted as an Army reservist serving in the corps of Engineers. Michael excels in frame adjustments, frame and lens repair, and lens manufacturing.
Taylor Sellers – Assistant Optical Manager / Frame & Lens Specialist
Taylor is a 2009 graduate of Ponca City High School. She leverages her 15+ years in customer service to provide personalized patient care and troubleshoot any optical issues that may arise. She enjoys spending her free time socializing with friends, traveling and being the proud mom of her little boy.
Kelsey Sanford – Frame & Lens Specialist
Kelsey joined our Vision Source family in July of 2021. She is a 2019 Bethel High School graduate who also attended Gordon Cooper Technology Center as a junior and senior in high school, finding a passion for cosmetology. Kelsey serves our patients as a frame and lens specialist. She excels at finding the perfect frame and lens combination for our patients to best serve their vision needs in a high fashion style. Our patients often experience the feeling of deja vu when meeting her, as her identical twin works in our billing department. When not assisting patients here, she enjoys plants and soaking up family time, especially with her twin and her nephew.
Bailey Amburn – Frame & Lens Specialist
Bailey is a Shawnee native and 2014 graduate of Shawnee High School. She joined our Vision Source family in December of 2021. She serves as one of our frame and lens specialists. She excels in this position by utilizing her 8 years of customer service experience and outgoing personality to assist patients in finding just the right fit for their lifestyle and prescription needs. Bailey enjoys spending her free time with her daughter, Rae, and family.
Krissy Ford- Frame & Lens Specialist
Krissy joined the Vision Source family in December of 2023. She graduated from Epic in 2022. Krissy serves as one of our Frame and Lens Specialists and enjoys using her 6 years of customer service to help patients pick the perfect pair of glasses to highlight their face and personalities. While outside the office she likes to spend time with her family and friends.
