Trevor Conklin, O.D.
Dr. Trevor Conklin grew up in Ardmore, Oklahoma graduating from Plainview High School. After high school he went to the University of Central Oklahoma and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration Marketing degree along with emphasis in biology and chemistry. From there, Dr. Conklin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. While in training Dr. Conklin completed externships in ocular disease at the Cherokee IHS Hospital, BVA ocular referral center and nJoy Laser Vision Correction Center as well as a pediatric rotation.
Dr. Conklin practices full scope primary care optometry, which includes fitting toric, bifocal, keratoconus, post-surgical and corneal refractive therapy contact lenses. Dr. Conklin is certified in the treatment of ocular diseases and certified to perform anterior ophthalmic laser procedures.
Dr. Conklin is actively involved in his community and across Oklahoma. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and serves as district 4 director of the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians. He is also an advisory board member of nJoy Laser Vision Correction Center and Vizavance children’s vision screening non-profit. He has volunteered his optometry skills with Oklahoma Rural Area Medical (RAM) clinics, Lions Club, and the Oklahoma Special Olympics.
Dr. Conklin was awarded the Young OD of the Year award by the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians in 2019.
Dr. Conklin enjoys spending time with his family, including his wife Megan and son Cooper. He is very passionate about spending time in the outdoors as well as hunting and fishing. Dr. Conklin also enjoys following OU football, Oklahoma City Thunder, and
running.
